520 _aThis is a report by a special eleven-member mission dispatched by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (now World Bank) to assist in a study of the manifold economic problems confronting Morocco. The mission has recommended the following steps be taken: (1) expansion in the commodity producing sectors-agriculture, fishing, mining, and industry; (2) emphasis upon training programs to produce the administrative, technical, and skilled personnel required for the expanding public and private sectors; (3) reduction of expenditures on administrative and social overheads; and (4) selection of projects that do not require major additions to existing infrastructure.
