Summary: The project aimed to create a framework in which economic activity of the original five ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) could be analyzed and forecasted. This framework also sought to take international economic interdependence between the ASEAN countries, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, the Unites States, and Japan into account.
