Includes bibliographical references p.152 and index.
The book has two aims. the first is to record what the Commonwealth Government actually does in its far-flung economic policy-making activities. The second aim is to set out the options open to the government, and to appraise those options. Thus, it is not a book which tries to persuade the reader to believe in a specific policy. It aim is to help him make up his own mind on economic issues-which are, after all, among the most critical issues in politics.
