"Studies based on the work of the Development Advisory Service, and written under the auspices of the Center for International Affairs, Harvard University."
Includes bibliographical references and index.
The Volume under review, the second in a series of which the first volume appeared in 1968, is a collection of eight papers contributed by persons who have had some field experience in Pakistan. With the exception of the introductory chapter, which summarizes the achievements and frustrations of development in Pakistan, each chapter concentrates on specific economic issues that the editors thought were particularly interesting and important.
