In recent years, considerable attention has been given to the adequacy of existing policies governing intramodal and conglomerate combinations in the transportation industry. However, little attention has been devoted to analysis of the propriety of intermodal ownership standards. So the purpose of this study is to remedy this. N-B: Intramodal, Conglomerate, and Intermodal combinations are a form of business combinations for carriers engaged in different modes of transportation.
