Includes bibliographical references and index.
This book represents the proceedings of a conference held in Geneva early in 1975, on the theme of the case for controlling multinational companies and how this might be done. The participants were academics, businessmen, and international civil servants, rather than representatives of nation-states. Most of the papers deal with issues and policy questions more frequently raised in the industrial countries.
