Bibliography: p. 207-218.
The core of the book is devoted to the naming of the WIM parts. These are as follows: Population, Economy, Energy, Agriculture, Materials and Machinery, Trade and International Transactions (Chapters 4-9 respectively). Every chapter includes a 'contextual' introduction, and then describes the WIM submodel extenso. Chapters 1-3 are brief overviews of large scale modelling at a level of generality, but they are easy to read. The book ends in an equally brief manner with the topics of validation and use of models.
