Includes bibliographical references: p. 313-316.
It is a book in honor of Fritz Machlup, and in it much tribute rendered to him. It is also about the man and his ideas. Many of the articles are on the subjects to which Machlup contributed during a long and prolific career. Some of these articles comment upon or extend his work; others discuss the topics or areas and touch upon his work or role. It is, therefore, a collection of neither separate contributions nor strictly biographical pieces, although there are various mixtures of both.
Those interested in Machlup and/or his principal areas of work will find it useful to refer to this book.
