This book is divided into two parts. Part one (1) consists of a series of papers covering the period 1954-9, which appeared in the Bankers' Magazine, and expressed the current monetary situation from time to time. While part two (2), is composed of papers submitted to Radcliffe Committee and the council on prices, productivity and incomes, which include; aims of monetary policy, bank rate and stocks etc.
