Economic Commission for Africa Sub-regional Meeting on Economic Co-operation in West Africa Niamey, 10-22 October 1966
This study attempts to prepare a statement showing the present importance of small enterprises. The results are given in Table 1. The total number of industrial units in West Africa in 1962-64 was 2,485 employing 176,912 workers with an average employment of 71 per unit.
