This study includes an examination of not only the extraterritorial application of national laws (typically by the United States) but also the extraterritorial effects of certain national laws and practices, such as those of state monopolies, including those of state trading countries. The study therefore is an attempt to put "long arm" laws into such a wider perspective and explore the possibility of an international solution.
