Fiscal incentive schemes which are designed to promote industrial development are widely canvassed in many of the developing countries of the world. Chapter 1 examines the industrial structure of Nigeria. Chapter 2 shows that not much has happened since 1952 and that Nigeria is far from entering the stage of industrial revolution. Chapter 3 discusses the various incentive legislations, regulations and their ancillaries and the role of regional and federal governments.
