Translation of Dōro kōtsū kansei.
Road networks of today are required to smooth vehicle traffic and provide safe operation for vehicles and pedestrians. However, since the rapid rise in vehicle traffic demand has resulted in intolerable increases of traffic volume and heavy congestion, the original functions of road networks have been gradually lost, while the bad influences upon human life, such as increase of accidents and air pollution are notable.
