This is a book of readings on the Nigerian economy comprising of 5 parts and 18 chapters written by scholars from Nigerian Universities. Part I consist of the introduction. Part II deals with the development of major sectors in the Nigerian economy. Part III examines the role of foreign and domestic investment and looks at the economy through a macroeconomic model. Part IV examines economic policy monetary and foreign sectors. Part V examines development planning, policy making and the performance of the Nigerian economy.
