The book examines whether Eurobanks as a system can create liquidity. This is cast in terms of the simple fixed-coefficient multiplier model so familiar to elementary in money supply process. The purpose of this book was to suggest that although this model may serve as a useful approximation in analyzing certain domestic banking systems it inappropriate for competitive markets like the Eurocurrency market.
