The report of a mission sent to the Republic of Korea by the World Bank
This is a report of a mission sent to the Republic of Korea by the World Bank. It is divided into four parts. Part one considers economic growth between 1961 and 1976, the Fourth Plan (1977-1981),and development issues in the 1980s; part 2 deals with human resources including population, social development, and labour; part 3 contains chapters on six major sectors: agriculture, manufacturing, energy, transport, public finance and the financial system; part 4 is devoted to four appendices: a macroeconomic model, essays on the structure of exports and imports and on external capital, and over sixty pages of statistical tables.
