"Business Statistics in Business and Economics" is the core of an integrated instructional system that has been under continuous development and class testing . The basic sequence in the first nine chapters progresses from descriptive statistics to probability to statistical inference. Elementary decision making is introduced in chapter 7 before those on continuous probability distributions and elementary inference. Chapters 9 through 12 discuss the topics in univariate statistical inference. The final six chapters are concerned with other topics in inference and analysis that have important applications in economics and administration. |
