This is a historical and methodological study of the Keynesian Revolution. It employs the methodological approach to the growth of scientific knowledge originated by Thomas Kuhn's provocative thesis that scientific advance is due to "non-cumulative development episodes" called "revolutions", and that science in general, contrary to a widely held view, does not necessarily produce progressively more "truthful" statements about reality. This book is the first full-scale study of the Keynesian Revolution using Kuhn's idea.
