In this paper the authors present and interpret evidence from Project LINK concerning the international transmission of economic fluctuation and inflation. Project LINK is a world system consisting of 31 linked national or regional models. Full-scale structural models are included for 13 industrialized countries and the less developed countries are represented by four regional structural models for Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Developing America.
